At-Home Teeth Whitening – Marysville, WA
Two Weeks to a Brighter Smile
What is At-Home Teeth Whitening?
At-home teeth whitening is a service we offer to patients you want to eliminate the stains and discoloration on their teeth. Most individuals prefer to use whitening products at home, which is why we strive to meet our patient’s needs by providing a solution that is safe and effective while producing dramatic results.
How Does it Work?
At Allen Creek Family Dentistry, our team of dental professionals will first begin by examining your mouth and determining how deep your stains live within the enamel. Stubborn, deep-down stains are usually brought on by age, thinning enamel, and even medications that were taken during childhood. Surface stains are the result of dark-colored beverage consumption or smoking. By examining your smile, this will allow us to determine how strong the whitening gel should be in order for you to see results.
We will then take impressions of your smile to send off to a dental lab technician, who will customize your whitening trays, so they fit comfortably and prevent leakage onto your gums, lips, and tongue. Once your trays are ready, you will return to retrieve them as well as the high-grade whitening gel that works to blast away stains.
Following the instructions provided to you, it is important that you wear your whitening trays for a designated amount of time each day for two weeks. By the end of that timeframe, you will see a noticeable difference in your smile.

Cost of At-Home Teeth Whitening
Every patient’s smile is unique, thus, the needs of each person receiving teeth whitening treatment are different. There are various factors that can determine the overall cost of at-home teeth whitening, such as your custom-made trays and professional-grade whitening gel. If you require replacement trays at any point, or you need prolonged treatment, these can increase the price of your at-home teeth whitening.
Since it is considered a cosmetic dentistry service, most dental insurance companies will not pay for it; however, it is best to review your policy and/or call your insurance company. If you need assistance in paying for your treatment, we offer CareCredit, which is a third-party financier that makes it possible for treatments to be broken down into affordable interest-free monthly payments.
