Your First Dental Visit
If your first visit with us is a checkup and cleaning, your appointment will typically last around an hour. First, we’ll guide you back to one of our treatment areas and help you get comfortable. You’ll then see one of our dentists for a checkup, where they’ll examine your teeth, gums, and X-rays taken by our dental assistant. If we spot any signs of oral health problems, we’ll discuss any treatment recommendations that we have and move onto your cleaning. One of our dental hygienists will thoroughly clear all plaque and tartar from your teeth and floss and polish them.
New Patient Forms
Before you visit our dental office for your first appointment, we ask that you please download and fill out our forms, which you can access by clicking the links below. This way, you will not have to worry about doing it in our waiting area when you arrive.
As a convenience to our valued patients, our dental office accepts most dental insurance plans, including major providers like Aetna, Delta Dental and BlueCross BlueShield. Our team members will prepare all the necessary forms and file them on your behalf so that the fulfillment process is as smooth as possible. We will always work hard to maximize your available benefits, and a pre-treatment estimate can be submitted to the insurance company so that you will have a good idea of what the received benefits will be. However, please keep in mind that you are ultimately responsible for outstanding payment if your chosen plan results in less coverage than originally anticipated.
